Towson Therapy Group is seeking a master's level therapist to join our team as an extern!  

 

Opportunity 

 

This exciting paid training opportunity is geared towards master's level clinicians. The position offers the opportunity to work with college student, professionals working in the Towson area, and adults across the lifespan, with presenting difficulties ranging from identity development, adjustment, anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal challenges, and substance use. Externs will gain experience supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist.

Commitment

Externs will be expected to see an average of 8-10 clients per week and complete documentation in Simple Practice (subscription provided by Towson Therapy Group). 

​

 

Training 

 

Externs will receive one hour of individual supervision weekly and one hour of group supervision monthly. Externs will have the opportunity to participate in monthly peer consultation sessions. 

 

Applicants 

 

Applicants should posses the following: 

 

• A master's degree in clinical psychology 

• A license to practice as a registered psychology associate in the state of Maryland (by start date)

 

Compensation

• $35/session
