I believe that one of the most meaningful aspects of therapy is the collaborative relationship. I enjoy using this approach as a way for me to gain insight into what you find challenging, your hopes, and your goals. In turn, I hope to support you on a journey towards self-discovery, empowerment, and healing. As we build our therapeutic relationship, integrating what is most important to you both inside and outside of therapy is my priority, while keeping in mind that adapting to your needs is a natural part of the process.
In my free time, I like reading, spending time outdoors, and baking new (and old) recipes. As someone who enjoys his hobbies and recognizes the humanness of struggling to find balance, incorporating aspects of what you enjoy into our work is important to me. Whether or not this is something you are looking for in therapy, I enjoy incorporating strengths-based approaches into treatment as a way to empower my clients.
I am currently a doctoral student in psychology at the University of Loyola Maryland. I am a registered psychology associate in Maryland and practice under the supervision of licensed psychologist Jon Gorman, PsyD.
