Opportunity

We are a small insurance-based group practice in Towson, committed to treating both clients and employees with compassion and care. Our focus is on creating a supportive and nurturing environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered on their journey towards healing and personal growth.

 

We currently offer in-person and virtual appointments to clients 18 and older. A competitive candidate must have experience working with adults with a wide range of presenting concerns and identity factors. We welcome both therapists who have a niche specialty area, as well as therapists who see themselves as more generalists.

Work hours are flexible, and can be designed to fit one's lifestyle. We provide comfortable and furnished office spaces in charming West Towson. In addition to a steady referral stream, Towson Therapy Group provides support in terms of marketing, billing assistance, ongoing supervision/consultation, wireless internet, and a warm, collegial environment. Excellent income potential, benefits to cover a portion of healthcare and continuing education/licensure expenses, and schedule flexibility. Opportunities to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed therapists. We value clinicians with diverse backgrounds and life experience. We welcome working parents!

Applicants 

 

Clinicians should possess the following: 

 

• Licensed or is a license-eligible psychologist, social worker, counselor, or therapist

  • Supervision is available for license-eligible therapists​

• A climate-aware approach to therapy, or an openness to learning more about a climate-aware approach to therapy 

• An understanding of and interest in enhancing their application of mindfulness-informed, ACT, relational, psychodynamic modalities/frameworks 

• Experience providing evidence-based treatments

• Strong work ethic

• Commitment to providing high-level of client care and customer service

• Ability to work independently, as well as under supervision (if clinical supervision is required)

• LGBTQIA-affirming

• Warm, funny, engaging, and intellectually curious
